Type of Membership & Fees

Notes on Membership

There are four (4) types of WHF membership – Country Membership, Ordinary Membership, Associate Membership and Commercial Membership. The general qualifications of memberships are governed by the Federation as follows: -

Country Membership

WHF accepts only one (1) Country Membership from each country, and the representative shall implicate direct relations to hairdressing activities. Country Members have full membership rights and are able to vote in the WHF Annual General Meeting and can be appointed or elected as a member of the Executive Committee.

Ordinary Membership

Country Members of each country accepts Ordinary Membership which these individuals shall represent the country of their own and shall implicate direct relations to hairdressing activities. There is no limitation on the number of Ordinary Membership for each country. Ordinary Members have full membership rights and are able to vote in the respective country’s Annual General Meeting.

Associate Membership

Applicable to non-commercial organization/association/federation directly or indirectly related to hairdressing and beauty activities worldwide. Associate Members are a class of member who are not eligible for Country Membership/Ordinary Membership but supports the objectives of WHF. Associate Members have no voting rights.

Commercial Membership

Commercial Members are companies, associations or similar bodies both for profit and non-profit having an interest in the hairdressing and beauty sector, and wishing to support the aims and objects of WHF. Commercial Member has no voting rights.
